Hypland x One Piece Collaboration
How Hypland is expanding into officially licensed anime accessories
Hypland is a pioneer in the streetwear industry. Founded in 2010 by Jordan Bentley when he was in high school, Hypland quickly gained popularity for its unique approach to graphic tees, hoodies, and accessories, especially among anime fans. They frequently collaborate with major anime franchises like Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, and Yu Yu Hakusho, creating officially licensed, limited-edition collections that highlight popular characters and scenes

The Accessories
Before working with us, Hypland had not launched any accessories besides rugs. All of their releases were detailed garments inspired by anime. For the One Piece x Hypland Official Collaboration, we teamed up with Hypland to bring a new product
How We Made It Come to Life
We worked with Jordan over the course of months to make these belts. Taking several One Piece digital assets, we mocked up more than 20 different belt and buckle combinations. From there, we sampled the best designs and upon completion, ended up picking two designs for the capsule.
The Result
Hypland's rollout of the One Piece collab began at Anime NYC and was a huge success. By the end the weekend, all of the belts were sold out and the online release had yet to occur. When the online release occurred, all the belts restocked sold out as well, showing how much fans loved these products
